A haunted night.....

So it's safe to say that the Carroll Spooktacular was amazing!! April put so much work into getting everything ready and planned...nice work seester, we had a blast!!


We enjoyed an awesome apple eating contest!! See for yourselves......


I have to say that I was a little skeptical about participating in this slobery contest....I have a problem with the contents of other people's mouths....I am slighlty a germ-a-phobe, even though kissing my sweet husband doesn't bother me, so I am weird. Anyway, April and Mard spent their minute in a half devouring their apple and then Mom and Monte.......I couldn't allow them to show us up now could I? Heck no!! So we put up a good fight! Jake was a ferocious apple muncher!


I could not stop laughing at these two....they were so crazy, Monte was in it to win it!!

Even though Jake and I fought to eat the most apple, Ashley and Dylan beat us by a tiny portion of apple skin.......dang it.....those ruiners!! Just kidding, they were awesome and won a gourmet candy apple for their great effort, it looked amazing!!

Those scurvy, rather clean looking pirates......that's a first. And of course they received the award for best couple costume.....I mean look at them, pretty sa-weet!!


Dylan was some kind of fierce, tough boxer and Ashley was this sweet and innocent doll, talk about opposites......they've got Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde going on


And of course Ron Burgundy couldn't live without his little "Red!" We were being pummeled with all kinds of lines from Anchorman all night, it was a crack up, he did a good job of looking and sounding like him......well that's not too hard since he has the whole movie pretty much memorized....WOW....that might be a little weird?


Unfortunately, in all the chaos I was unable to get Burger king (Markham) and Snow White pictured together (April). This was also one of the rare times Markham could wear his mask because Katie absolutely freaked when he had it on, I mean she was terrified, and if he talked while he had it on, forget it she was beside herself in terror!

Mard's costume was a complete surprise....only April knew what he was going to be, it was pretty freaking hilarious when he revealed himself!!

Our dear sweet Pony came late, but she was sure a Tigress when she arrived, very fiesty!! What a hottie.....Grrrrrr......

Little Parker was Katies strong, handsome groom......although I think he liked Grandpa's pirate costume better, he wouldn't let that hat out of his sight.......great idea for next year!

The King, little princess bride, and Ron Burgundy


Doesn't he just look so much like Ron Burgundy? If you haven't seen Anchorman, you may be a little lost......but he is pretty much in love with that show and Will Ferrell!!

Um.......isn't Ashley suppose to be a sweet and innocent little doll? I'm confused....this looks like adult intertainment.....hmmmmm what a seductriss!

Whenever Katie and Parks are together they love playing in the yard on this sweet little outdoor playset.....they go crazy....up and down, up and down the slide!









PuMpKiN CaRvInG!!!

Dylan and Jake kept saying how me and Ashley were slave drivers. I mean with all the pumpkin carving, pics and all, why wouldn't they-what babies right? But secretly I think they had some fun....and without the X-box even....is that really possible? They think they are such good actors.....but we see through them!

Parkies sure had fun, didn't do any carving, which could have been a disaster, but he did have fun using the glue stick all over his pumpkin and everybody else's!!!!


Me and that silly Ash-she was amazing because she carved 2 pumpkins in the time it took everybody else to carve 1!!! She's a fast worker.....nice pumpkins guys!!

Fun times at the Tibbitts' house!

We were all privileged to have Markham and April up in Logan for the day a little while back......poor Mard never gets away!! All of us had a blast! Ashley made us some mean meatballs, hats off to the chef!!

Here is our stellar cook for the night!! I am not much of a meatball fan, but these meatballs were.......were.......were.....there are no satisfactory words to describe how amazing they were!! Good job Ash!!

Labor Day Fun in Burley!!

Well, since the weather was....um.....frigid, no fun on the jet skis, but we found other ways to occupy our time! Ashley is like some sort of crazy puzzler now, so me, her and my momma put together a 1000 piece puzzle. Let me tell you what, this is not for the faint of heart....it was hard, there were like a million cats that looked the same? I know it doesn't make sense.

There was no question: We had to document our great accomplishment!! Kudos, good job ladies!!

Favorite activities.........

Parker and Katie love playing and just being around each other. Katie is so funny, she runs to greet Parker and just giggles!!! She is always trying to give Parker those sweet hugs and kisses.......pretty much adorable!!

This visit they decided to make beautiful music........well not really "beautiful", but they made a valiant (noisy) effort!!

Scooting down the stairs was also a popular one! I think it was just an excuse to get closer to forbidden territory, aka, the upstairs!


Parker had so much fun with his cousin Katie, and of course his aunt Lindsey, he had a slight problem when dinner time came........

Island Park with the Wittwers!!

Well, I know all of you are going to miss seeing my sweet husband pick his nose when you browse to my blog........but I had to update, I gave you all as long as I could!!

Here's Jake trying to look all smooth.....I'm not sure he really gets what goes into "being smooth!"

Jaylen got to go fishing with the boys a couple of times and boy did that make him happy, he always wants to be with the boys and his dad, instead of us boring girls!!! Oh, and can you tell Jake and Lance have the same kind of personality, one that hardly ever involves being serious? It sure keeps life interesting and funny!!

Jake and Lance thought they were pretty cool, looking all manly and stuff in the back of the truck to go fishing, so naturally I had to document it!!

Even little Lily looked excited to go fishing!! But sadly for her, she came with the girls to shop instead!

So here is one of our little shopping trips we went on, I say "one" because Roz loves going into West Yellowstone and I am pretty sure she went everyday for that addicting ice cream she loves!! Iguess I can't say all the girls came on this little adventure, Gentry stayed behind to fish with the boys and Kaylee was still in Logan, we missed you guys!

These were so cute I thought I should share them with everybody, what cute little girlies right out of the bath!! Unfortunately, I couldn't get Lily to look at me or smile very well, I think she was a little tired from the days activites!!

Way up at Sawtelle!!!

We took the steep and dusty trail up to Sawtelle mountain to see the whole valley of Island Park and Mack's Inn and probably some of Yellowstone too. Our car was a different color when we came back....but it was an awesome view!!!

This is our lame attempt at getting everybody in a picture, well at least mine. There were 14 of us so you can imagine we were all scattered about! Jeff got a sweet pic of every single one of us with his timed camera, I'm a little jealous....I won't lie!!

We had an awesome 5 days at the cabin with the good old Wittwers and were sad to come home to work and school for Jake. I didn't get documentation of our two canoing trips, or the amazing time we had swimming at Firehole, but I promise we did do those things!!! Are you all impressed I went canoeing though? Heck yeah I'm not always a "house cat" like Jake and his dad say!!
