PARKER TURNS 3!!!

What a little handsome boy!! He is growing up too fast!!


I think he liked his flashlight...I guess he had been wanting one for awhile, he was so stoked! He's just testing it out on the ceiling!


Parkie also got a brand new bike from Ashley's parents, it is a pretty sick bike!! And he's got to be safe with his manly Cars helmet!


Sweet Kaity wanted to play with all of Parks new toys, while Parker was golfing, Kaity took advantage of this opportunity to put that helmet on and ride his bike!! It was pretty big for her, but with daddy's help she completed her short bike ride!



Kaity was never far from Parker when he was opening presents, many times through-out the day she said, "Where are my presents?" Awww...it was so cute! She was a good helper

This was kind of a double party for Parks and Jake with my family. Jake turned 26.....yikes, but unfortunatley I didn't make his cake until we had his shindig with his fam....so pics to come of that!!

~~fOoD sHoW!!!~~

So a couple of weeks ago Jake and the other managers at work got to go to the annual Associated Food stores.....food show. I of course had to work and missed out on all the fun! But Jake came home with all this loot.....and guess how much it cost us.......um nothing!!! I was so excited for free food, there was a lot of junk food, energy drinks, cases of water, bread, fruit, granola bars, gum, chips, and paper towels even!! We split it with our good friend Rex (pictured) they look pretty stoked huh?! Oh and thanks Janelle for showing Jake the ropes on all the free food!!

Our new furry friend and home

Well we are all moved into the house and we love it!!! We actually moved in a week later than planned and when you are already so anxious to move in.....a week feels like forever!! Anyway we are so happy and loving our own place!!

So my mom and sister came from out of town to see the house and hang out and Ash came and hung with us too!!! It was great fun!! Kaity and Parker were sure happy to play together!!! Thanks for coming over guys!!



And we have been planning to get our kitty when we moved in too....so we have her and she is such a little cuddly bear!! So, meet Zoey!!!


So I think Zoey melts Jake's heart, it is so cute he wants her to cuddle and sleep on him!!

What a little funny!! She loves to cuddle up with you close to your face......not really like here though, she's all sprawled out!!!

HOME SWEET HOME!!!

So I am sorry to have kept our big news secret.......but I wanted to make sure everything was solid before we started blabbing to everyone!! So.......we bought a house and we make the move May 21st!!!! YEAH!!! We will miss our apartment dearly.....um not so much, we are so stoked!!! So here is going to be the place we call "Home".
I had some people thinking we were pregs.....sorry to disappoint, but that's next on the list!!

The snow makes for not a great pic.....looks too cold!! It doesn't look like that now though!!! Spring has finally maybe sprung here in Logan!! Yipee!!

Happy Happy Birthday Seester and Dyn!!!

Aprils bday is the 15th and Dylan's is the 12th so their birthdays usually get combined, it is so fun!!!

Parker wanted to set the house of fire with the "aim n' flame"....to his disappointment, his parents didn't find that so appealing!!


Katie was so scared of Sylvie.......a big nasty monster who wanted to eat her......um no, but you would have thought that was true if you saw Katie when Sylvie came around!! Sylvie is Ash and Dyn's sweet little mellow cat that will let you do anything to her!!! Katie kept backing away from her and saying, "I Scarred".

See here she is seeking comfort from her daddy.....but when the camera comes out, she forgets all her fears and cheeses it up!!

It was so awesome we could all get together, I love it!! We wish we were all in Cache Valley, but Syracuse and Burley aren't really that far away, so we are lucky it isn't further for everyone to come together. Love you all!!! It was great to see ya'all. Happy bday Dyn and April!!!

Momma's bday!!!

Okay so my mom's bday was like a month ago.......but I have been slacking on the whole blogging thing so here it is late!!


Isn't this the greatest candid, I tried to catch them off guard........

We all came home to celebrate and we went to my mom's restaurant of choice, Gerdies! It's this really good pizza place that serves every kind of pizza you could want!!! Even dessert pizza!! They come around to the tables with all these pizzas and you choose what you want. It was so fun and yummy!! Good choice momma!

Hello Carrolls!!


So the kids loved grandma's brownies we made her, you can see here Katie is very serious!



These two are so funny, it used to be like pulling teeth to get them to both look at the camera.......at the same time. Although, now if you even get a camera out they are both automatically looking at you saying, "CHEESE!" It makes for easy pics!!

Momma, it was fun seeing you on your birthday, we were happy we got to share it with you!!
We don't get to come home and see you guys as often as we want! We love you!!

Valentines Retreat!!

So we were lucky enough to getaway from the daily grind and have a romantic weekend-wink wink!! We went to Bear Lake!! It was freezing, but so beautiful. We stayed in a condo that was on the beach (snow covered beach, some of you might not find that appealing....mom) and we loved it!! Here is a snap from the beach up at the condos


This place is amazing in the summer too because it is right on the beach close to your boats or wave runners. Since it was winter that didn't quite have the same appeal, but we went to the hot tub a lot and were kind of lazy......wow it was great!!


Here's a shot at the beach, I told Jake to do something funny and this is what he came up with.....the king of comedy pretends to be falling.........good job anyway babe!!




We also went on a winter snowy walk on the beach. Jake thought I was kind of silly wanting to go for such a frigid walk, but to his surprise we had fun and we got a workout, deep snow is hard to trudge through!!


That sweet little animated hubby of mine!! I am so glad he is not boring!!

Um....what about Christmas??

So I am embarrassed to say that I took a whole bunch of pics of awesome Christmas activities we did with the Wittwers and I never posted them........so luckily, big sigh, you all get to see them now, 2 months later!!! Oh yeah

Sweet little Jaylen really didn't help much making the gingerbread houses, but he so wanted to be in the pic, I think he's a good addition!


So this is Amber, Chelsea, or Kaylee's house I can't remember which is which. Well yeah it looks amazing, everybody had kits to help a little too. Jake didn't think we needed one, even though I wanted one and assumed he got one. He thought using just graham crackers and frosting would be a better idea. hmmmmm......I bet you can imagine how good our house looked. Well if you are wondering, it is pictured with us and Jaylen in the 1st pic. Work of Art


Wow......why couldn't ours have looked like that house? Oh wait I know why, we didn't have a kit.....Jake got kind of frustrated making our shack and so he vowed to get a kit next year....victory!

But in the end, kit or not, we ended up with pretty horrific collopses.......



SPOONS!! So I love love spoons and we all got to play at the Wittwer Christmas party. I couldn't have been happier!!


The girls had fun having all the attention on them too!! And how could we not give them what they want!!


We also took a trip to temple square to see all the lights and feel that awesome Christmas spirit!!!! It was awesome and we had so much fun!!

Annual Sun Valley Extravaganza!!

So we spent last weekend enjoying some fam time in Sun Valley, Idaho, it was a blast as usual!! Every year we meet Monte's kids here in this great town and have a little fam reunion. Thanks for the fun weekend frumpy!!

You ask what we did.......what else, guitar hero!!! These two look pretty intense, huh!



We also had our little gift exchange which always consists of some great presents and of course the kids get their presents. Cindy's boys, Lucas and Jake are enjoying some great ones!


Kids must be thinking we are crazy, having them unwrap these cool toys....Parker looks perplexed!


Ashley of course worked on one of the puzzles she brought. I have to admit I wasn't in the mood to puzzle, so she had no help from me, but she does okay!! Nice cheesy pose Ash, we love those!


Katie and Parker were showing us their "moves" here. They don't look like much, but you should be sad you missed it!! Adorable! Of course they always have fun together and Parker enjoyed playing with his other cousins!


Jake spent a whole day and a half reading.....for fun.....I wondered if he was okay...this NEVER happens!! That good old Monte got each couple this book, Train to Potevka, I guess it is really exciting, its about a man from Bear River, Utah, yeah right up our alley!! Anyway he goes to Russia....he was a spy and I guess it's about his time there and all his crazy happenings. As you can see Jake liked it, my turn!!


Monte and Dylan chose to watch football for some of the time......ewwww....so us girls had to find something else to occupy our time. Ash and I made my mom's famous Christmas sugar cookies....I would say they are to die for!!! They take a long time.....about three hours to make with two people........if you know us, we wouldn't do that unless they were wonderful.
